Temenos Legacy Temenos T24 Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2025 2025
In 2025, Housing & Development Bank Egypt implemented Temenos T24 as its Core Banking platform, executing a big bang go-live on August 1, 2025 that activated the vendor’s suite in a single transition. The deployment included Temenos Core along with Payments Hub, Financial Crime Mitigation, and Data Hub as the primary functional components of the new core banking architecture. The Temenos T24 implementation was configured to support core deposit and lending ledgers, payments processing orchestration via Payments Hub, financial crime screening and case management via Financial Crime Mitigation, and a centralized data layer through Data Hub for reporting and analytics. The program has been positioned to extend into customer-facing digital channels under Temenos Digital and to evaluate AI-assisted product management capabilities such as Temenos Product Manager Copilot. ITSS served as the implementation partner for the program and DXS provided dedicated testing support during cutover and validation cycles. The vendor maintains a local office and an ecosystem of integration and implementation partners in Egypt, with Temenos customers in the market that include Arab African International Bank, Banque du Caire, Commercial International Bank, Housing and Development Bank, and Suez Canal Bank. According to the vendor, early post-go-live observations include reduced transaction processing times, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction, and the project aligns with Egypt Vision 2030 and the Central Bank of Egypt’s digital agenda. The deal for the Temenos T24 suite was originally announced in 2021 and the 2025 go-live represents the production activation of those platform components.

In 2016, Housing & Development Bank Egypt implemented OneSumX from Wolters Kluwer Financial Services in a Risk Management engagement. The bank selected Wolters Kluwer following an Enterprise Risk Management tender and engaged Winter Partners Egypt as the local implementation partner, with both firms undertaking the deployment to cover risk, regulatory reporting and operational risk capabilities. The OneSumX deployment targeted core risk management areas including asset liability management, ALM, liquidity risk, market risk and credit risk, and incorporated modules for regulatory reporting and operational risk oversight. Integrations were scoped to link finance, treasury, credit administration and compliance workflows, reflecting OneSumX's role in managing the intersection of governance, finance, risk and compliance. The implementation was planned to unify risk measurement across ALM, liquidity and market exposures and to consolidate credit risk assessment inputs for consistent regulatory reporting. Project governance was executed jointly by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services and Winter Partners Egypt, with responsibilities split across solution configuration, validation testing and staged rollout. OneSumX was positioned as an ecosystem of complementary solutions to help increase organizational profitability, efficiency and growth while standardizing risk and regulatory reporting processes across HDB.
