In 2013, HUB Parking Technology implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to centralize its finance operations and provide a single ledger for transactional and reporting activity. The deployment supported the Regional Controller and the finance department, supervising one accounting clerk and processing payroll for 115+ exempt and nonexempt employees via ADP Workforce Now. Operational responsibilities covered preparation of journal entries in Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise, review and monitoring of company credit card expenses, initiation of ACH and wire transfer payments, preparation of annual 1099s, and compilation of information for monthly and quarterly sales tax filings that were forwarded to the external CPA. The implementation also included completion of monthly treasury and sales reporting for headquarters in Italy and execution of special projects as required.
Configuration focused on core ERP Financial capabilities within Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable workflows to manage payment initiation, expense transaction monitoring, and reporting routines for treasury and sales consolidation. The environment was set up to produce periodic journal entries and tax worksheets that supported external tax compliance processes and 1099 generation. Payroll was processed through ADP Workforce Now with payroll outputs reconciled into Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise, creating an operational interface between payroll services and the ERP Financial ledger.
Operational governance was exercised by the Regional Controller with day to day supervision of an accounting clerk to ensure transactional accuracy and adherence to month end close routines. Processes formalized through Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise included monthly close activities, sales tax data assembly for CPA review, payment controls for ACH and wire transfers, and documented procedures for special finance projects. Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise served as HUB Parking Technology's centralized ERP Financial ledger and reporting hub, coordinating external payroll and tax advisory workflows while consolidating finance department activity for headquarters reporting.
