FibuNet Legacy FibuNet Cost Accounting ERP Financial ERP Financial Management n/a 2015 2016
In 2015 Hugo Hamann Germany implemented FibuNet Cost Accounting as its central finance system in the ERP Financial category. The engagement focused on establishing the Kosten- und Leistungsrechnung cost accounting module to strengthen controlling and to automate invoice processing across the distribution business. The core finance and cost accounting configuration went productive in September 2016, establishing the central ledger and cost accounting processes for the company. The deployment included FibuNet Cost Accounting configured for cost center and internal cost allocation workflows, and accounts payable automation. The rollout incorporated FibuNet webIC for automated invoice capture, with webIC going productive in May 2017, enabling automated invoice data capture and downstream posting into the finance system. Category-aligned capabilities such as general ledger posting, cost accounting postings, and invoice workflow automation were implemented to support finance and controlling operations. Operationally the implementation positioned FibuNet as a central finance hub in Germany, covering finance, controlling, and accounts payable functions and improving integration across multiple ERP and WMS sources. The project sequencing and go live dates reflected a staged rollout, first bringing core finance and cost accounting into production and subsequently enabling automated invoice capture. The program delivered faster invoice throughput and improved integration across multiple ERP/WMS sources while remaining within the stated project budget.
