In 2018, Hyatt Place Biloxi implemented Netchex Payroll and Tax. The Netchex Payroll and Tax deployment served a single-site, 30-employee hotel in the Leisure and Hospitality sector, centralizing payroll and tax compliance for hourly and salaried staff under the property management organization.
The implementation covered core Payroll processing and tax filing capabilities, configured to support monthly and semi-monthly pay cycles and payroll reporting. Netchex Payroll and Tax was used to manage HR events tied to payroll, including new hire and termination processing across all departments, and to produce the monthly and semi-monthly reports required by property finance and operations.
Operationally the Netchex Payroll and Tax environment was coordinated with the hotel’s existing operational systems, which included M3 Time Management Systems and M3 Accounting, as well as Opera PMS and Micros Symphony point of sale. Time capture and labor records from M3 Time Management were reconciled into payroll processing, payroll journal and labor costs were aligned with M3 Accounting records, and front-desk and POS labor chargebacks were referenced against Opera PMS and Micros Symphony activity.
Governance and process ownership remained at the property level, with the General Manager overseeing payroll, HR administration, daily deposits, accounts receivable and accounts payable coordination, and budget and inventory oversight. The Netchex Payroll and Tax implementation supported property efforts to eliminate overtime and excessive hours while consolidating payroll administration and payroll reporting for finance and HR operations.
