In 2022 Hyve Managed Hosting licensed Crowd Connected Indoor Positioning under a multi-show agreement to embed blue dot navigation and location analytics into official show apps, with the first production rollout at Spring Fair 2022. Crowd Connected Indoor Positioning was implemented as an Analytics and BI capability to capture location signals and to support organiser and sponsor engagement across Hyve’s events portfolio. The implementation configured core functional capabilities including blue dot navigation, personalised wayfinding, venue mapping and location analytics that produced exhibitor footfall metrics and visitor engagement insights. Crowd Connected Indoor Positioning delivered exhibitor footfall metrics and personalised wayfinding features that surfaced to app users and supported sponsor-facing engagement workflows. Integration work focused on embedding the Crowd Connected Indoor Positioning client into official show apps, coupling mobile on-device positioning with cloud-hosted analytics to surface location intelligence to event teams. The deployment was scoped to events and exhibitions within Hyve’s UK and global portfolio, with event operations, exhibitor services, marketing and sponsorship teams as primary operational consumers of the Analytics and BI outputs. Governance and rollout were managed through the multi-show licensing agreement and coordinated releases with Hyve show app teams and organiser stakeholders, starting at Spring Fair 2022 and intended to extend across additional events in the portfolio. The implemented solution delivered exhibitor footfall metrics, personalised wayfinding and improved visitor engagement for organisers and sponsors as stated in the implementation notes.
