In 2014, IDOX implemented Unit4 Business World as its core ERP Financial platform for Group Finance. The deployment positioned Unit4 Business World to support statutory and management accounting workflows across the finance organization, aligning the application with the Group’s requirement for consolidated reporting and regulatory filings.
The implementation configured Unit4 Business World to manage general ledger processing, month end management accounts for subsidiary companies, group consolidation, and preparation of group year end and half year financial statements. Functional capabilities were tailored to support ongoing technical accounting requirements expressly cited by IDOX, including IFRS 16 leases and IFRS 2 share based payments, audit support workflows, Companies House filing processes, and national statistics reporting.
Hennessy IT Consulting led the implementation engagement, working closely with the Head of Group Finance and the Chief Financial Officer to embed the solution into existing finance processes. Operational coverage included the Group Finance team, subsidiary finance teams and regulatory reporting contacts, with configuration to support audit interactions and Company Secretary workflows as part of the statutory close and filing cycle.
