In 2017, Imperial Hotel Japan implemented Tap PMS at Imperial Hotel Tokyo. Tap PMS was deployed as a Hotel Property Management solution focused on front-office operations, customer management and point of sale capabilities. The implementation targeted reservation processing and daily guest-facing workflows across the hotel's front-office and operations teams.
The deployment included Tap's front system module, customer management CRM module, POS module and related subsystems, configured to support reservation imports, guest profiles and in-stay billing. Functionality implemented aligns with standard Hotel Property Management workflows, covering check-in and check-out, reservation ingestion, guest record consolidation and POS transaction capture.
Operational scope was Imperial Hotel Tokyo within Japan, covering front-office, CRM and operations functions and integrating Tap PMS processes into the hotel's reservation import pipeline. The project increased reservation import completion from approximately 60 percent to 100 percent, an explicit front-office CRM operations outcome reported in the case study.
