In 2024, Imuraya Group Japan adopted Fuji Electric Karuwaza Web as a centralized Analytics and BI capability to streamline reporting across supply chain and manufacturing functions. The company decided to adopt the KARUWAZA solution in January 2024 and completed migration of new reports by March 2024, establishing a clear project timeline for report provisioning and automation.
The deployment focused on reporting and data integration modules, with configuration centered on automated report creation and scheduled BI outputs. Fuji Electric Karuwaza Web was used to consolidate reporting workflows across SCM, sales and production systems, and the implementation automated routine report generation, reducing individual task times from tens of minutes to seconds and dramatically cutting cumulative monthly hours.
Integrations explicitly included Box for file consolidation, kintone for application-level data, and IoT data streams for production telemetry, which were brought together through a data integration layer and BI reporting engine. The architecture combined ingestion and lightweight transformation of files and application records with dashboard and scheduled report delivery, supporting operational reporting in Japan for SCM, sales and production stakeholders.
Rollout and governance were executed as a short program, moving from pilot to full report migration between January and March 2024, with handoff of scheduled reports to central reporting teams and redefined report creation workflows to reflect automated processes. Fuji Electric Karuwaza Web therefore became the primary Analytics and BI tool for cross functional reporting at Imuraya Group Japan, with automation and integration as the main levers of change.
