In 2019 Insurica implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform to centralize corporate accounting and consolidated reporting. The deployment targeted corporate accounting, reporting, audit, and tax across multiple entities, supporting multi tiered consolidated reporting and financial onboarding of start ups and acquisitions.
The implementation configured Acumatica Cloud ERP financial reporting and consolidation capabilities, including general ledger and multi entity consolidation functionality, and supported purchase accounting transactions during acquisitions. Insurica implemented Acumatica financial reporting to replace a complex Excel based consolidation tool and configured automated bank reconciliation workflows using xbot automation for more than 40 bank accounts.
Integrations included Concur for expense reporting and targeted integrations or setups to connect new and existing accounting systems as part of acquisition onboarding. Operational ownership was retained within corporate finance in Oklahoma City, with the Director of Financial Reporting providing project planning and serving as project champion while coordinating audit and tax requirements across entities.
Governance changes encompassed redesign of the finance team structure and hiring to strengthen technical accounting expertise, formation of project teams to manage the Acumatica Cloud ERP rollout, and process improvements to centralize financial reporting, consolidation workflows, and reconciliation automation. The deployment established Insurica Application Acumatica Cloud ERP ERP Financial relationships across accounting, reporting, audit, and tax business functions.
