In 2017, Inteliquent began using Meltwater Owler Community for competitive intelligence across sales, product, and marketing in the United States. Inteliquent uses the Investment Research and Market Intelligence application to consume daily alerts and maintain company profiles that reduce ad hoc research time and inform outreach strategy.
The deployment path started on the free Meltwater Owler Community and moved to Owler Pro prior to a formal team purchase. Inteliquent purchased a 21-license Owler team Max deployment in 2021, and the 21-license Owler team Max environment went live in 2021, consolidating individual subscriptions into a controlled team instance.
Functionally the implementation centers on daily alerts, curated company profiles, and competitive signals that are embedded in sellers and product managers daily workflows. These Investment Research and Market Intelligence capabilities were used to accelerate research, prepare outreach, and support product competitive analysis without enterprise customization.
Governance emphasized license consolidation and role-aligned access as Inteliquent scaled from the free Community tier to a 21-license team deployment. The implementation scope remained focused on United States commercial operations, impacting sales, product, and marketing teams, and delivered the explicit benefits of saving research time and informing outreach.
