The implementation established MRI Jenark as the companys primary Real Estate Property Management application for accounting and property financial workflows, aligning the application with core accounting and property operations functions. The project entailed conversion of the company accounting system into MRI Jenark and configuration of core financial capabilities typical of the Real Estate Property Management category, including the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable workflows and tenant billing and invoicing structures. Deployment was sized for a 20 person organization, provisioning access for corporate finance users and field staff and aligning property level financial structures and chart of accounts. Rollout and governance activities centered on training corporate and field staff on proper use of the accounting system and instituting standardized procedures for transaction entry, period close and tenant billing processes. Control of accounting workflows was centralized under corporate finance while field operations were given disciplined data entry and billing responsibilities within MRI Jenark. |
