In 2019 Inter Milan implemented the Evolphin Platform as a Digital Asset Management solution, deploying an AI-enabled Evolphin Zoom MAM to ingest, index and monetize its historic and current sports media archives. The deployment targeted editorial, journalism and marketing functions, providing searchable archives for teams in Italy and for global content operations. The implementation focused on centralized media asset ingestion and cataloging to support post-production and fan engagement workflows.
The Evolphin Zoom MAM configuration delivered automated ingest pipelines, asset-level indexing and searchable AI metadata timelines, including face recognition, logo detection and speech to text transcripts. These functional modules produced time-aligned metadata to accelerate editor search, clip creation and content repurposing workflows, and supported archive monetization through indexed retrieval and reuse. The Evolphin Platform was configured to expose metadata-driven search and timeline views to content producers and marketing staff.
The solution integrated with Veritone aiWARE to provide the AI processing engines that generated faces, logos and speech to text metadata, an integration noted in Evolphin and Veritone press coverage. Go-live was estimated about a year after the 2019 contract announcement. Governance and rollout emphasis centered on embedding AI metadata into editorial workflows and provisioning access for editors, journalists and marketing teams to enable coordinated global content use and fan engagement.
