SolarWinds Pingdom RUM is deployed as an Application Performance Management solution to monitor end user experience on ICSC’s public website. The implementation included real user monitoring instrumentation embedded in site pages to capture page load and resource timing, synthetic transaction checks for key customer flows, uptime monitoring, and centralized dashboarding for frontend performance metrics. Configuration work covered alerting thresholds, synthetic check schedules, and custom dashboards to surface availability and performance issues to operations teams. The project was executed with systems integrator FourthSquare, which provisioned the Pingdom RUM scripts, configured monitoring policies, and built dashboards. Operational ownership resides with web operations and digital experience teams, with alerts routed to IT operations and service owners to manage incident response and remediation. Governance established centralized monitoring, alert routing, and scheduled reporting to product and marketing stakeholders, providing an Application Performance Management foundation for ongoing site performance oversight and continuous instrumentation of the web estate. |
