The program produced a formal business requirements document to capture requirements for integrating Oracle R12 into the existing Workday tenant as a result of an acquisition, and the implementation replaced an earlier Oracle NetSuite ERP footprint when Workday Financial Management went live. Data reconciliation and loading processes were executed to validate data being added to the Production Tenant prior to cutover.
Operational coverage included ongoing support across multiple departments, daily configuration adjustments driven by a ticketing system, and identification of process updates both inside and outside Workday to improve efficiency. The team maintained a governance cadence tied to Workday’s bi-yearly updates, reviewing incoming releases for user impact and capturing required changes.
The deployment included a structured UAT program led by the implementation team, with scheduling, tracking and audit-compliant defect documentation and retesting, and daily UAT status meetings with IT and business stakeholders. Deliverables from the program included the new cost center hierarchy, multiple reconciled data loads validated for Production, and resolution of over 150 individual Workday help desk tickets through configuration changes and defect remediation.
