In 2016, Intratuin implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX R3 as its ERP Financial platform. The program centralized core finance and retail operational data for the Netherlands headquartered garden retailer, and included delivery of a newly built webshop as part of the same initiative.
Microsoft Dynamics AX was configured to support core financials, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, inventory management and order management to align retail and ecommerce workflows. Configuration work included finance posting rules, pricing and promotion logic tailored to merchandising, and targeted functional enhancements to support webshop order processing and fulfillment.
Integration work tied the newly built webshop to Microsoft Dynamics AX to synchronize product catalog updates, stock availability, customer master data and sales orders, enabling order transmission and financial posting from storefront to ERP. The implementation covered finance, ecommerce, merchandising and store operations across Intratuins Dutch operations, with transactional handoffs designed to preserve inventory accuracy and revenue recognition in AX.
Program governance emphasized structured functional testing cycles and user acceptance, the contributor performed functional testing for the migration and was partly responsible for the webshop implementation. Change control and release coordination focused on aligning promotional calendars, pricing updates and checkout behavior with ERP configuration prior to go live.

Operational scope is store-level planning for Intratuin Malden with planners and store employees receiving explicit shift and task direction through the system, improving governance of day to day workforce processes. The result reported is optimized staffing while maintaining the ideal level of service in the stores.
