In 2020 Ipc Health implemented Nookal as its Medical Practice Management application and published Nookal functionality on the corporate website for patient-facing access. Ipc Health implemented Nookal to centralize core practice operations while exposing online booking and appointment workflows directly through its public site.
The Nookal deployment focused on category-standard modules common to Medical Practice Management systems, including appointment scheduling and online bookings, patient administration and demographic records, clinical documentation and progress notes, and billing and invoicing workflows. Configuration emphasized practice-level scheduling rules, booking time slot management, and mapping clinical record types to front-desk and clinician views.
Nookal was integrated with Ipc Health website channels to enable patient self-service booking and appointment confirmation, with the application serving as the system of record for scheduled visits and billing events. Operational coverage targeted clinical staff, reception and administrative teams and practice billing functions, enabling consistent appointment handling and patient registration processes across the organization.
Governance around the Nookal implementation was organized to standardize booking and billing workflows and to enforce role based access across administrative and clinical users. Training and configuration governance prioritized consistent appointment lifecycle handling and patient data management to align clinical and administrative processes under the Medical Practice Management platform Nookal.
