In 2018, IQVIA implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR platform. The deployment established a centralized Workday tenant to consolidate HR data and reporting across global HR teams, HR Business Partners, centers of excellence, business owners and executive stakeholders.
The implementation encompassed core HCM modules including Recruiting, Compensation, Talent and Performance, Payroll, and an enterprise Reporting module. The Reporting module was delivered end to end, consolidating and harmonizing approximately 2,500 reports from HCM platforms including PeopleSoft and existing Workday instances into a single IQVIA Workday environment, and introduced a template based self service approach that reduced the report inventory by approximately 500 reports while improving system performance and flexibility.
Operational coverage included support for the Talent Performance cycle, Talent Review processes, leadership development and succession analysis workflows such as HiPo and nine box ratings, and anticipation of the Manager HR and CoE user experience. Delivery and ongoing operations were coordinated with IT, Business Operations, Audit, Payroll and Finance teams, with the HRIS function handling semi annual Workday release analysis, impact assessment, and participation in the Workday Community for product change governance.
Governance and process changes focused on periodic report maintenance, report schedule optimization and report related security, plus regular audits of Workday data stores to improve data quality and completeness. Senior HRIS resources provided strategic reporting and analytics, built global HR dashboards for executive reporting, and standardized reporting templates and maintenance practices to increase scalability and reduce administrative overhead.

In 2017, Iqvia implemented Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) as its Field Service Management solution. The initial deployment positioned Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) to support service delivery and field operations across professional services engagements, aligning field scheduling and technician workflows with customer-facing processes.
Configuration centered on Field Service Lightning capabilities, with emphasis on advanced scheduling and dispatch, work order and service appointment management, and mobile technician workflows. The implementation included configuration of service resources, skill based routing, and configurable work types consistent with Field Service Management best practices, and was tuned to support service level and appointment orchestration.
Integrations explicitly incorporated Salesforce Sales Cloud to link customer, account, and opportunity data to service cases and appointments, and Communities to enable portal access for customers or field users. The solution leveraged native Salesforce connectivity to maintain synchronized service history and customer records between Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) and Sales Cloud while exposing selected workflows through Communities.
Delivery governance followed SCRUM agile practices, with requirement development tied to a content management function and cross functional teams responsible for configuration, testing, and documentation. Staffing and operational readiness emphasized technical proficiency in Field Service Lightning, Salesforce Sales Cloud, and Communities, proven Salesforce experience, fluency in Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Excel, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver high quality work in a fast paced environment.
