In 2019 Isaac Lord implemented Intact Vline as its core Distribution ERP to consolidate back office functions for the retailer of kitchen and cabinet fittings, tools and hardware. The implementation targeted head office operations and the ecommerce channel, reflecting the dual responsibility of IT and Ecommerce Manager and Head Office Operations Manager for system administration and operational workflows.
Intact Vline was configured to support inventory management, order processing, purchasing and supply chain workflows consistent with Distribution ERP capabilities. The project included form writing and data extraction work, leveraging Intact Vline native configuration and scripting to produce transactional reports and export feeds for downstream systems.
The deployment integrated Intact Vline with the company Magento ecommerce catalog and checkout, and with courier systems via custom connectors and data extraction routines created by the internal ERP specialist. Architecturally the ERP served as the master record for SKUs and orders, orchestrating inventory availability and fulfillment instructions to ecommerce and carrier endpoints.
Governance and operational ownership rested with the IT and Ecommerce Manager along with Head Office Operations, combining system administration, order-to-cash process control and supply chain oversight.
