In 2018, Italian Rose Gourmet Products implemented Canopy as its Professional Services Automation application during a post acquisition engagement in Riviera Beach, FL from May 2018 to July 2018. A consultant supported the CFO with system conversion, the monthly close and updates to the board of directors reporting package.
The work included reconciliation and conversion of 68 months of sales history data, totaling almost $275 million, from QuickBooks Enterprise into Canopy, a food manufacturing EMS. Data transformation merged five separate QuickBooks and Canopy reports using Excel vlookups, pivot tables, filters, concatenation and subtotals to produce convertible revenue histories and ledger inputs for Canopy.
Functional coverage centered on finance and reporting workflows, specifically monthly close, board reporting, labor cost analysis and ad hoc executive requests. The consultant analyzed the effect on projections from updated labor cost reports, authored analytical narratives and prepared PowerPoint slides for presentation to the board and the acquirer representative.
Governance and process work involved reviewing and implementing changes to the Excel workbook used to produce the monthly board reporting package, and preparing responses to the President on behalf of the CFO during the post acquisition period. Canopy was positioned as the central Professional Services Automation application supporting financial reporting and operational reconciliation during the conversion and post acquisition stabilization phase.

In 2022, Italian Rose Gourmet Products implemented HostGator for Application Hosting and Computing Services to host and serve its corporate website. The deployment uses HostGator as the primary web hosting platform for the company website, providing the underlying compute and content delivery capabilities required for public web pages and customer-facing content.
The implementation centers on standard hosting functions within the Application Hosting and Computing Services category, including web server provisioning, domain DNS management, file-based content hosting, and SSL/TLS certificate support. HostGator is configured to provide account-level administration, control panel access for site updates, and typical hosting operational controls appropriate for a small manufacturing firm with approximately 50 employees.
Operational ownership appears scoped to the company website and its content lifecycle, with internal IT or marketing personnel responsible for site maintenance, content publishing, and hosting account management. The architecture is a single-vendor hosted model, where HostGator handles infrastructure and platform services while Italian Rose Gourmet Products retains responsibility for site content and administrative governance.
Governance for the HostGator implementation emphasizes standard hosting administration, domain renewal and access control practices, and routine content update workflows. This setup aligns Italian Rose Gourmet Products HostGator Application Hosting and Computing Services with common small business hosting patterns for managing a public web presence.
