4Flying Legacy 4Pack Packaging Data Management Business Process Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Itsu United Kingdom deployed 4Pack Packaging Data Management to streamline artwork review cycles for grocery products in the UK, focusing on the artwork/packaging process area and reducing manual email exchanges while managing multiple language and variant artworks. The deployment targeted packaging and artwork workflows used by product, packaging and merchandising teams to centralize version control and review orchestration across SKUs and pack variants. The 4Pack Packaging Data Management implementation configured artwork management workflows that captured artwork versions, routed review and approval steps, and enforced gated checkpoints tied to KPI-driven review SLAs. Configuration included variant and language handling to support multi-language packaging assets, automated review routing to internal stakeholders, and centralized document and asset storage to improve visibility of artwork versions. Operationally the platform was used to onboard external providers, translators and printers into a controlled collaborator workflow, providing managed access for file exchange, review annotations and completion tracking. The implementation extended across itsu’s UK grocery packaging program and coordinated interactions between in-house packaging teams and external suppliers, reducing reliance on ad hoc email exchanges while preserving audit trails for artwork changes. Governance was formalized through the platform’s controlled, KPI-driven workflow, which established review SLAs, version auditability and defined handoffs between internal teams and external contributors. Reported outcomes from the deployment included improved visibility of artwork versions, reduced review time and simplified onboarding of external translators and printers into an auditable packaging artwork process.
