Operational integrations and workflows were organized to align payments, treasury and reconciliation activities, working closely with the Payments, Treasury & Reconciliation officer to plan cash flow for AP needs. The program included liaison with auditors to facilitate year end, oversight of supplier reconciliations to identify and resolve issues, and the maintenance of documented AP processes to preserve control and consistency across the finance organization. Governance emphasis centered on process documentation and supervision, ensuring AP processes were documented and maintained and that reconciliations and intercompany calculations followed repeatable procedures. The stated aim of the work was improving the current process to increase financial control and improve efficiency, while providing direct support for year end consolidation and auditor engagement.
