In 2020, IXOPAY implemented the Ixopay Payment Platform for Payment Processing on its website. The deployment focused on embedding payment acceptance into public web checkout flows to centralize transaction authorization and routing. The implementation scope covered merchant payments and customer checkout touchpoints managed by IXOPAY payment and operations teams.
Configuration work for the Ixopay Payment Platform included gateway routing, tokenization for card on file use, authorization orchestration and settlement orchestration, using standard Payment Processing modules to support multi currency acceptance and payment method management. The platform was configured to expose API endpoints and hosted payment pages to enable PCI scope reduction and to provide reporting and reconciliation exports aligned to finance workflows.
Integrations were implemented directly into the IXOPAY website via platform APIs and hosted widgets to enable real time authorization and transaction capture within the web checkout flow. The implementation organized connectivity to acquirers and processor networks and orchestration of settlement flows, while exporting reconciliation and transaction reporting for internal finance and merchant operations. Operational coverage was focused on the public web sales channel and associated payment operations.
Governance established payment operations ownership and a configuration change process to manage routing rules and payment method configurations, with monitoring and reporting embedded in the platform. Rollout was executed on the website with staged configuration updates to limit payment availability impact and to maintain operational continuity.
