| MRI Software | Legacy | MRI Workspeed | Facility Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2014 | 2014 | In 2014, Jack Resnick & Sons, Inc. implemented MRI Workspeed as its Facility Management application to centralize monthly financials and tenant billing across its commercial property portfolio. The deployment focused on accounting and property operations, with explicit responsibilities to complete monthly financials, reconcile rental income and arrears, and manage Real Estate Taxes, Operating Expenses and miscellaneous income for commercial properties. The implementation configured MRI Workspeed capabilities to support agency reconciliations for non-operating entities, recurring billing runs, and account-level adjustments including late charges, legal fees, credits and escalations. Functional workflows established within MRI Workspeed included tenant account creation, escalation updates, invoice generation and processing of miscellaneous charges, reflecting standard Facility Management bookkeeping and billing controls. Operational integration included use of MRI WorkSpeed internet service for tenant service request tracking and invoice printing, and a documented Excel based workflow to create and process monthly MS Excel schedules for electric, fuel and water charges. The application was used by accounting teams in close collaboration with property management, building managers and managing directors to ensure commercial account productivity, and to manage distribution channels for monthly billing including mail, hand delivery and email. Governance practices implemented alongside the software included creation and maintenance of Operating Expense files, Real Estate Taxes, BID Taxes, Common Area letters and Consumer Price Index files, and monthly agency reconciliations. Workflows formalized communication touchpoints between departments, required documentation for tenant charges, and standardized processes for initiating and processing monthly commercial billing cycles. Operational scope remained centered on commercial property financial operations and tenant service-to-billing lifecycle management, with MRI Workspeed serving as the primary Facility Management system for invoicing, reconciliations and account maintenance. Ongoing duties documented in the system included charge updates to commercial accounts and routine collaboration with building management, reflecting an integrated application footprint across finance and property management functions. | |
