In 2015 Jacobs UK implemented Oracle Cloud ERP, deploying Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials R11 as its core system within the ERP Financial category. The program targeted finance and procurement workflows with a primary focus on Payables, supplier master management and purchase-to-pay orchestration, and included a migration path from Oracle EBS R12 into Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
The technical implementation configured Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Payables and used Fusion FBDI Loader and ADFdi loaders for bulk data migration of suppliers, vendor sites, purchase orders and commitments. Reporting and analytics were delivered through OBIA and OTBI patterns, with OBIEE used to produce OTBI reports and BI Publisher templates for Invoice Ageing, Payments Register, Invoice Register and payment file formats, preserving operational reporting continuity in the ERP Financial domain.
Supplier management capabilities were deployed using Supplier Hub, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Data Librarian and Data Quality Management modules. Functional configuration included extended supplier profiles via user defined attributes at the supplier party level, supplier qualification and evaluation workflows with RFI templates, customized event subscriptions to route notifications to supplier administrators by region and country, and DQM match rules to support supplier data stewardship.
Governance and process changes emphasized data stewardship and workflow automation, with Supplier Data Librarian and data stewards operating match and reclassification rules, and a custom workflow for business diversity classification re certification. Oracle Fusion Cloud BPM demonstrations were developed for P2P approvals including AP invoice and PO requisition approvals, and interfaces were built to support ongoing transactional flows for vendors, vendor sites and purchase orders into Oracle Cloud ERP.
