In 2018, JBT Schroder implemented ISAH ERP in the Manufacturing ERP category to support its machine manufacturing operations for the food processing sector. The deployment covered 50 named ISAH users within the organization and was delivered with implementation support from Trovarit AG. ISAH ERP is used to centralize core manufacturing data including customer orders, article master data, and bills of materials.
The implementation emphasized PDM integration, with the ISAH PDM integration enabling engineering and logistics to work from identical data sets. Engineering teams access ERP records such as customer orders, item master data and Stücklisten directly from CAD drawings, which reduced administrative effort in managing item masters and BOMs and supported part and assembly standardization. ISAH ERP therefore functions as the single source for product structures and order-linked configuration data.
Operational coverage included engineering and logistics workflows that support both small batch machine production and the delivery of complete, customer-specific production lines. Functional capabilities implemented include BOM management, item master management, order management and the CAD/PDM to ERP data flow that links design and production planning. The integration streamlines material data handoffs and supports repeatable configuration of machines and assemblies.
Governance changes focused on standardizing parts and assemblies and embedding ERP data access within engineering processes, which drove documented time savings in article and BOM administration. The combined ISAH ERP and PDM integration helped Schröder Maschinenbau KG reinforce its position as a technological market leader and supported growth in export business as stated by the company.
