Data integration was designed to feed Epic Quotes pricing outputs into a Fabric Lakehouse architecture, leveraging Microsoft Fabric for storage and orchestration, and pipeline patterns aligned with Azure Data Factory or Databricks for ETL and feature engineering workloads, with Power BI used for dashboarding and stakeholder reporting. The programme worked directly with strategic partner delivery teams on Lakehouse build, BI development, and data engineering requirements, and maintained data dictionaries and process maps as living artefacts.
Governance applied ML-readiness thresholds per product and per data field, data quality scorecards with named entity level accountability, and acceptance criteria reviews to validate partner deliverables against specifications. Reporting and programme oversight were structured through the IT Director, with the Technical Data Business Analyst serving as the primary interface between branch managers, operations leads, underwriting and the Digital team and technical delivery teams.
