In 2020, Jernia deployed Kahoot Motimate as its Norway-wide Learning and Development application to centralize L&D and internal communications across the distribution retailer. Kahoot Motimate is used as a daily HR and internal communications and training tool across approximately 140 Norwegian stores and approximately 2,000 employees.
The implementation emphasized content authoring and publishing, campaign management for product launches and promotions, short-form microlearning modules for sales and product training, and engagement tracking to measure weekly participation. These functional capabilities align with Learning and Development workflows, supporting scheduled campaigns, targeted communications to store teams, and rapid course delivery for frontline staff.
Operational responsibility rested with HR and store operations for content governance and staged rollout, embedding Motimate into daily store communications and training routines. Vendor case material and local reporting indicate Kahoot Motimate was live in 2020 and achieved sustained weekly engagement in the 70 to 75 percent range, supporting campaign execution and product training across the retail estate.
