Socotra Billing was configured with billing schedules, premium posting logic, and automated reconciliation workflows to support faster policy bind processes and more timely finance inputs.
Integrations included a payments integration with Stripe to capture payment events and streamline reconciliation into the billing ledger, and the billing event stream was connected to Jetty’s policy lifecycle and reporting pipelines to deliver near-real-time financial visibility. The deployment emphasized operational integration between billing transactions and finance reporting to shorten the lag between payment events and financial reporting.
Rollout and governance were scoped to finance and billing teams within Jetty’s US operations, with process changes to align billing workflows and policy bind steps to the new system. According to the case study, outcomes included improved policy bind speed and enhanced near-real-time financial reporting and payments visibility as delivered by Socotra Billing.
