Infor Legacy Infor SunSystems ERP Financial ERP n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, JKX Oil and Gas PLC implemented Infor SunSystems as its ERP Financial application for head office finance operations in London. The deployment centered on Infor SunSystems V6 and was supported from project start by a part time Finance Systems Consultant contracted in January 2017, who took responsibility for administration, support and ongoing development of the head office financial estate. The implementation covered the core Infor SunSystems environment alongside a suite of complementary finance applications, including VisionXL, Infor BI, Office Plus, Proactis, XMPro, Time@Work and B4B. Configuration and day to day change activity focused on ledger and reporting workflows, automation of inefficient processes, and extensibility for reporting and analytics via VisionXL and Infor BI, while the Finance Systems Consultant drove continuous improvements and configuration updates. Operational architecture was organized around on premise SQL databases and finance related servers managed by the Finance Systems Consultant, with application level integrations linking Infor SunSystems to the supporting tools listed. Governance and process ownership remained with the head office finance function, with the consultant executing administration, support and development tasks and collaborating with finance users to embed automated workflows and maintain the operational environment.
