Configuration emphasized outbound shipment setup and processing to support in house truck loads as well as LTL and FTL carriers, with role based access and task ownership assigned to a Logistics Clerk responsible for shipment creation, tracking and record maintenance. The implementation environment explicitly includes Omnitracs and Logistically shipping software for shipment setup and carrier coordination, and documentation notes familiarity with Acumatica as a related system in the technology mix. Governance changes centralized shipping coordination at the Howell New Jersey location, formalized carrier negotiation and shipment tracking responsibilities, and embedded FACTS driven shipping workflows into daily operations across the four distribution centers.
