In 2020, Kaiser + Kraft Europa implemented Slimstock Slim4 for Supply Chain Management. The project decision was taken in January 2020 and the rollout was executed remotely during the national lockdown, aiming to modernise inventory optimisation and replenishment across Kaiser + Kraft Europa’s European warehouses. Slimstock Slim4 was configured to deliver inventory optimisation and automated replenishment workflows, with multi site planning capabilities across six warehouse locations. The implementation included article level stocking policies, replenishment rule orchestration and planning horizon configuration to support a substantial increase in articles managed while preserving planner headcount. Operational coverage encompassed Germany and other Kaiser + Kraft Europa countries, with six warehouse sites brought under centralized planning and replenishment processes. The rollout was conducted remotely, enabling planners to continue operational planning offsite during lockdown conditions and allowing centralized configuration updates without on site disruption. Governance was aligned to multi site planning, consolidating replenishment decisioning and standardizing planner workflows across sites. The Supply Chain Management implementation delivered efficient multi site planning and supported an approximately 60 percent increase in articles managed while keeping planner headcount stable.
