The HRIS team and Talent Acquisition served as primary operational owners, with the Talent Acquisition organization managing vendor relationships, initiation of checks, and review of screening outcomes for candidates across corporate and business unit hires.
Governance and process changes were formalized through collaborative configuration work with the HRIS team, including creation of screening questionnaires, dispositions and other process controls within Workday Recruiting to enforce consistent candidate flows. The rollout emphasized operational ownership by the Talent Acquisition function and embedded Sterling Background Check into hiring and onboarding workflows to maintain compliance and candidate experience continuity.
