In 2014, Keystone Rv Company deployed Imperva DDoS Protection to stop a large SYN flood that had crippled its corporate site and its 10,000 dealer partner portal. The deployment targeted restoration of external website and partner portal availability in North America and established immediate operational mitigation pathways.
Imperva DDoS Protection was configured to detect and mitigate protocol level SYN flood traffic and to preserve HTTP session availability for the corporate website and partner portal. The implementation applied traffic filtering and detection policies at the network edge with real time monitoring and rule tuning to accelerate automated mitigation and threat identification.
Operational scope covered the corporate website and the dealer portal, protecting North American traffic flows to sustain connectivity for about 10,000 dealers. The arrangement included SOC managed mitigation and monitoring as described in the vendor case study, embedding vendor operational control into incident response for external facing services.
Availability was restored within two hours following deployment, and ongoing SOC managed mitigation remained in place to address subsequent attacks. This implementation links Keystone Rv Company, Imperva DDoS Protection, and the DDoS Protection category to business functions responsible for website and partner portal availability.
