In 2017 KIA Germany implemented the Azkoyen ADT 1110 as its primary time capture terminal. The Azkoyen ADT 1110 was deployed as a Time Clock (Hardware) solution to standardize employee attendance capture across the KIA Germany footprint centered in Frankfurt.
Configuration focused on core time capture functions common to the Time Clock (Hardware) category, including clock-in and clock-out event logging, badge-based terminal security and shift and attendance recording to support personnel administration. The Azkoyen ADT 1110 was configured to produce structured time records for downstream HR processing and to support validation workflows within the HR organization.
Integration work aligned time capture feeds with SAP HR and the broader payroll workflow environment, reflecting existing collaboration on SAP time recording interfaces and the organization’s payroll relationships including LOGA and the external payroll provider ADP. HR KeyUser responsibilities included reconciliation of terminal exports with SAP HR records, forwarding payroll documents to the external provider and coordinating travel expense exports to the payroll process.
Governance and operational rollout were managed by the HR function, with the HR Manager acting as primary contact for employee, authority and social insurance communication and coordinating with the works council on attendance related workforce changes. The HR team provided KeyUser support for time recording, SAP HR and payroll systems, and drove ongoing interface development and operational handoffs during the Azkoyen ADT 1110 rollout.
