In 2023 Kings Great Buys Plus implemented TransActPOS to automate pricing, inventory and electronic shelf-label updates at its appliance and home furnishings store in Madisonville, Kentucky. The deployment focused on Point Of Sale functions supporting store operations, pricing workflows and inventory accuracy.
TransActPOS was configured to deliver pricing automation, inventory synchronization and scheduled electronic shelf-label updates. The implementation included the TransActPOS RetailDeck and SES Imagotag modules, and the full TransActPOS application was used to centralize price propagation, SKU-level inventory visibility and ESL control alongside standard Point Of Sale transaction capabilities.
Integrations centered on the RetailDeck and SES Imagotag modules to link the POS pricing engine with shelf-label hardware and merchandising workflows, enabling automated price pushes from the POS to electronic labels. The solution was provided by Profile Systems Design Group and operated at the store level, impacting store operations, pricing and merchandising teams.
Governance emphasized centralized price propagation and scheduled ESL update processes, with staff processes adjusted to rely on automated label updates rather than manual price changes. The vendor case study reports outcomes of improved pricing accuracy and increased staff efficiency following the deployment of TransActPOS.
