In 2017 Klesia retained Cegedim as delegataire and deployed Cegedim iGestion as its Insurance Policy Administration platform to serve as delegated manager for health benefits and claims administration in France. The engagement established Cegedim iGestion as the operational backbone for administering member health benefits and processing claims under the delegated management arrangement.
Cegedim iGestion was configured to support core Insurance Policy Administration capabilities including benefits and policyholder record management, claims administration and case handling, document capture and retention, and workflow automation for adjudication and payments. The implementation emphasized industrialisation of claims processing, aligning configuration and process automation to standardize case lifecycles and reduce manual handoffs.
Operational scope was explicitly limited to Klesia health benefits and claims administration in France, with Cegedim operating as the retained delegataire. The arrangement included transfer of Klesia staff into the delegataire model and targeted execution steps in 2019 to industrialise processing, maintaining continuity of service during the handover and steady-state operations.
Governance was structured around the delegataire relationship, embedding Cegedim operational ownership for day to day claims administration and benefits servicing while Klesia retained oversight. Process restructuring focused on standardized workflows and scaled operational procedures to improve service continuity and operational scalability without specifying technology integrations beyond the Cegedim iGestion deployment.
