In 2025 Kolmar Russia implemented 1C Document Management to centralize administrative document workflows across eight enterprises including remote sites in the Sakha Republic. The deployment targeted administrative and HR document handling to reduce paper handling across its Russian operations and to accelerate approval cycles.
The implementation configured core document routing and approval workflow capabilities, centralized electronic repositories, indexed search, and role-based access controls within 1C Document Management. Configuration focused on streamlining administrative approvals and HR document processing, simplifying routing and search for administrative and HR documents and automating multi-step signoff to compress decision cycles.
The solution was integrated with existing 1C:Accounting and 1C:Salary & HR systems to align financial, payroll, and personnel records with document workflows and to ensure consistent document referencing across transactional and HR systems. Operational coverage included eight legal entities and remote sites, enabling centralized policy enforcement while preserving local access for regional administrators in the Sakha Republic.
Rollout governance emphasized standardized approval routes, template libraries for administrative and HR forms, and staged onboarding across the enterprises to limit disruption. Training and process alignment were applied to administrative and HR functions to embed new electronic routing and search practices into day-to-day operations.
Kolmar reported that average approval time moved from days to hours and paper costs fell by approximately 75 percent, with simplified routing and improved search for administrative and HR documents noted as primary operational benefits. The project used 1C Document Management, Apps Category .
