In 2014, Krispy Kreme India implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as an ERP Financial application in Hyderabad to support core finance, fixed assets, procurement and inventory serial number processes. The implementation is an Oracle E-Business Suite R12 project that incorporated CMELI components to manage inbound and outbound interfaces and a series of customizations, with XML Publisher used for custom reporting.
The implementation included targeted modules and custom development work that aligned with ERP Financial workflows. Development deliverables included a custom form for Serial Number Integration with OPM, a customized Requisition Workflow for Fixed Assets, an interface to import GL invoices, and KKD FAH TB Extract and KKD FAH Interface components. Reporting and presentation layers were developed with XML Publisher and Discoverer, and numerous custom forms were created to meet business requirements.
Technically the environment was built on Oracle eBS Applications R12 with Oracle databases and 10g and 11g tooling, and used tooling such as PLSQL Developer, D2K Forms 10g and Reports 10g, TOAD, SQL Loader, Putty, WinSCP3, XML Publisher, Discoverer and Workflow Builder. The architecture relied on CMELI-based inbound and outbound integration patterns and PL SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, cursors and collections to orchestrate data exchange and transactional processing across finance, asset management and procurement functions.
Governance and operational support were delivered through formal technical documentation, including MD 70 technical specifications, and an assigned lead responsible for application development, maintenance and support. The project delivery statement indicates components were delivered on time with quality, and operational ownership covered ongoing maintenance and support activities for the Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial environment.
