CatalystOne Legacy CatalystOne Absence Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2021 2022
In 2021, Kristiania Vocational School implemented CatalystOne Absence for Absence and Leave Management. The CatalystOne Absence module was deployed as part of CatalystOne's modular HR system with a go-live in 2022 across its Norwegian campuses, covering the institution's approximately 114 employees. The implementation targeted absence processes that had been conducted on paper and spreadsheets, bringing core absence data and workflows into the CatalystOne Absence application. Configuration emphasized workflow orchestration, sick-leave follow-up routines, absence type configuration and built-in reporting capabilities aligned to Absence and Leave Management practices. The deployment delivered manager and HR interfaces for approvals, follow-up actions and consolidated absence reporting, and inserted the CatalystOne Absence application into employee self-service flows. Automation of follow-up tasks and standardized workflows reduced manual administration and shaped day to day HR operating procedures. Operational coverage included HR administration and campus managers across Kristiania's Norwegian sites, with governance adjustments to formalize follow-up cadence and reporting responsibilities. According to implementation notes, the rollout produced clearer absence workflows, easier sick-leave follow-up and faster reporting, improving employee experience and reducing administrative time.
