In 2021, Kuoni deployed Sunrise Business Cloud PBX as part of a broader Sunrise Business engagement to modernize corporate telephony. Kuoni implemented Sunrise Business Cloud PBX in the PBX, VoiP and Phone Systems category to consolidate voice services and enable seamless global connectivity for staff while modernising its IT and communications infrastructure in Switzerland.
The Sunrise Business Cloud PBX implementation was configured to deliver core cloud telephony capabilities typical of the PBX, VoiP and Phone Systems category, including hosted call control, SIP trunking, auto attendant and voicemail, user extension provisioning, call routing, conferencing and presence with mobile integration. Configuration emphasized centralized number management and standardized user provisioning workflows appropriate for a 200 person leisure and hospitality firm.
Operationally the Sunrise Business Cloud PBX was integrated with Sunrise secure connectivity, business mobile and security services to produce a consolidated provider stack under Sunrise Business. The integration supported corporate communications, reservation and customer support workflows, and IT operations, while keeping the telephony platform and network security aligned with Sunrise managed connectivity across Switzerland and for globally connected staff.
Governance centered on centralized provisioning and vendor consolidation through Sunrise Business, with Sunrise Business Cloud PBX serving as the core cloud telephony layer.
