In 2012 Landgoed de Salentein implemented Exact Globe from Exact Software as its ERP Financial application, with implementation support from Activium. The deployment targeted automation of the administration function at the 30-employee leisure and hospitality estate and its sister company in Tilburg, Verbunt, with the explicit objective of reducing duplicated work and simplifying tasks as administrative responsibilities increased without additional headcount.
Exact Globe was configured to centralize core financial processes including transaction processing, accounts payable and accounts receivable, while Exact Synergy was deployed to enforce standard processes and clear approval workflows. The package was provisioned with expandable modules to allow incremental capability growth, using Exact Globe for efficient data ingestion and Exact Synergy for workflow orchestration and document handling.
Integrations were implemented with customer EDI links so customers generate text files that are read directly into the server, enabling digital invoice processing to flow into Exact Globe. Operational scope covered administration across the estate and the Tilburg sister company, and governance changes emphasized task simplification and standardized workflows so everyone works the same way. The processing of digital invoices via EDI directly with a large proportion of customers was noted as a major improvement in administrative processing efficiency.

Activium is listed as the SI VAR and A-Real-Solution provides ongoing consultancy and operational support, supplying expertise not available in-house and assisting during development and when help is needed.
Part of the standardization and digitization program is complete and the processing of digital invoices via EDI is noted as a major improvement, while further work remains on reporting and the phased Real-HRM rollout.
