The implementation centralized high-volume scanning, optical character recognition, and document indexing, enabling automated metadata tagging and document-to-record association. Capture Componenets ccScan was configured to process batches of renewal documents and produce searchable files that could be linked to contract records in the CRM, reducing manual file handling and classification. Integration work focused on attaching OCRed documents directly to Salesforce contract and account records, creating a continuous content flow from scanner endpoints through ccScan to the CRM. The U.S. implementation explicitly targeted CRM and contract management workflows, aligning document ingestion and retrieval with contract lifecycle steps. Governance changes centered on a standardized scanning and attachment process to ensure consistent document naming and record linkage in Salesforce. The project shrank a renewal documentation process that previously took months down to minutes and produced significant labor and time savings for contract management and CRM teams.
