In 2008, Launch! implemented OpenText Employee File Management to centralize personnel documentation and employee records. The deployment targeted core HR and People Operations, aligning with Document Management requirements for a 200-employee professional services firm based in the Netherlands.
The OpenText Employee File Management implementation centered on electronic personnel file capabilities, metadata-driven indexing, full-text search and version control, and audit logging. Configuration work included role-based access controls, retention scheduling and automated document lifecycle rules to support onboarding and offboarding document flows and regulatory records retention.
Governance and operational rollout emphasized HR records policies, delegated access provisioning for HR administrators, and procedures for document classification and change control. The program included configuration of security and compliance settings within OpenText Employee File Management and coordinated training for HR staff to standardize file creation, indexing, and retrieval workflows.
