Operational scope centered on building operations and facilities management at Park Place, where automated control of set points and load distribution reduced the need for continuous manual intervention in HVAC set point management. The deployment emphasized real-time control logic and campus-level orchestration, applying energy optimization algorithms across multiple buildings while maintaining tenant comfort and critical system constraints. Since October 2015, LBA Realty has realized annual savings of over 4 million kWh at Park Place with Yardi LOBOS EE, and Park Place delivers 1.4 MW of demand response capability through Yardi LOBOS DR. Company principal Perry Schonfeld discussed LOBOS as an "artificial intelligence software" at the 2017 Realcomm conference, positioning the Yardi LOBOS deployment within LBA Realty’s broader efforts to advance intelligent buildings through Real Estate Property Management technology.
