In 2019, Legal Tracker/Serengeti deployed Mitratech Acuity ELM as its enterprise legal management platform for Legal Practice Management across its United States professional services operations. The implementation was positioned to centralize matter control and financial oversight for an organization of approximately 200 employees and $20,000,000 in revenue.
The deployment configured core Legal Practice Management capabilities including matter management and intake, matter-level financial tracking and e-billing workflows, document management, and reporting and analytics. Configuration focused on role based access, matter tagging and routing, automated approval workflows, and configurable fee arrangements to support legal and finance process alignment.
Operational scope targeted legal and finance functions, standardizing intake to close processes and aligning legal spend controls with accounts payable and procurement workflows. Integrations were scoped to exchange billing and matter data with corporate finance systems through export and API patterns where required, enabling consolidated reporting and legal spend visibility for stakeholders.
Governance and rollout used an Acuity GreenRoom sandbox for pre production validation and user acceptance testing, allowing configuration adjustments prior to production activation. The vendor documented a conversion approach and pre purchase trialing to streamline onboarding and reduce configuration rework during the initial rollout.
