In 2020, Leone implemented TeamSystem ACG as its ERP Financial application to consolidate core finance functions within the company. The deployment targeted accounting operations and financial control to centralize bookkeeping, fixed asset management, and treasury workflows under a single financial management package.
TeamSystem ACG was configured to support accounting ledgers, fixed assets administration, and cash and treasury processes, aligning with the company prior experience using ACG for those domains. Configuration emphasis followed ERP Financial functional patterns, including chart of accounts structuring, depreciation schedules, and treasury booking and reconciliation workflows, while avoiding heavy bespoke customizations.
The implementation was deployed into Leone's existing IT footprint which incorporates AS/400 hosts, three Windows servers, around seventy networked personal computers and seven automated production cabinets. The rollout was aligned with existing Cognos business intelligence reporting and Visual Basic interfaces that use ODBC connections for real time order and production status, preserving financial reporting continuity across operations and manufacturing systems.
Operational scope focused on the accounting department while maintaining integration touchpoints with purchasing and production planning processes managed through the company SAM ERP. Governance and rollout followed a phased, standard-configuration approach that reflected Leone's historical preference for minimizing custom development and enabling closer coordination between finance, purchasing, and production planning teams.
