In 2014, Les Enphants implemented Lectra Fashion PLM to centralize and manage apparel product lifecycles. Lectra Fashion PLM was deployed as the company’s primary Fashion PLM solution to support product development and merchandising business functions.
The implementation included configuration of core product lifecycle capabilities common to Fashion PLM, including collection planning, tech pack and specification management, sample and prototype tracking, bill of materials management, and workflow orchestration. Standardized templates and approval gates were established to enforce version control, handoffs between design and development, and structured specification updates.
Operational coverage focused on product development, design, pattern making, merchandising and sourcing activities within Les Enphants’ Taiwan organization. Data orchestration centralized specifications, sample histories and collection calendars to improve cross functional collaboration and reduce manual document handoffs.
Governance changes included role based access, formalized approval workflows and change control around specification updates to support faster sampling cycles. Outcomes reported by the customer include faster collection planning, faster prototyping and improved cost competitiveness, summarized by the statement “Collection planning is now faster, prototyping is faster and we are more cost competitive.”
