Lockside Software Legacy Lockside Geni-Sys CMS Content Management Content Management n/a 2016 2016
In 2016, Leyton Lighting implemented Lockside Geni-Sys CMS. The Lockside Geni-Sys CMS deployment served a Content Management and eCommerce use case in the United Kingdom, with Lockside Software building the customer-facing eCommerce site and orchestrating product data flows. The implementation integrated a product information management capability together with DataChannels to push product specifications, images and pricing to websites and printed catalogs. Configuration work centered on modeling product and catalog content inside Lockside Geni-Sys CMS, provisioning PIM-driven product data workflows and embedding media asset records into the CMS content model. Integrations explicitly included a PIM and a DataChannels pipeline to automate distribution of product metadata and images to web catalog pages and external catalog exports, supporting product management, marketing and online sales functions. The rollout reduced time to market for LED products by enabling automated catalog publishing and channel-specific product feeds.
