The implementation centered on kiosk mode configuration that converts any connected iOS or Android device into a centralized clocking location, enabling employees to clock in and out, record breaks, and capture overtime. Configuration work focused on optimizing onsite sign in flows, role based access for managers, and aligning captured time records with pay categories so hours flow into payroll calculations as regular time, breaks, or overtime.
Integrations were limited to the Gusto platform, the solution syncing time records directly with payroll in Gusto and integrating with Gusto Wallet so employees can view paychecks and time breakdowns. Operational coverage included multi site use cases, illustrated by a client operating across two locations, with device based kiosk deployments positioned at director offices or central entry points to enforce on site clocking and reduce offsite time recording risk.
Governance changes emphasized location bound clocking to support regulatory compliance and attendance policy enforcement, for example ensuring childcare staff meet required onsite ratios.
