In 2018 Liquor Library implemented NCR Voyix Counterpoint for Retail Management to simplify inventory control and deliver live transaction and stock data critical to day to day operations. The small consumer packaged goods retailer, operating in the United States with ten employees, deployed the application to centralize stock visibility and support purchasing and store transaction workflows.
The deployment of NCR Voyix Counterpoint emphasized inventory management capabilities, with configuration for real time stock visibility, purchase order and receiving workflows, point of sale transaction processing, and operational reporting for merchandising and reorder planning. The implementation leveraged standard Retail Management functional modules to unify sales and inventory records and to provide consistent on demand inventory data for the operations team.
Governance and operational ownership rested with the operations function, led by the Director of Operations Scott Brown, who cited the simplification of inventory processes and the importance of live data, stating I would recommend Counterpoint to anybody. The rollout focused on aligning store operations and purchasing workflows to the system generated inventory views, enabling day to day reorder and stock control decisions to be driven from NCR Voyix Counterpoint rather than manual counts.
